NuStar Logistics Secures Permits

NuStar Logistics, a unit of NuStar Energy (NS), was granted permits for three pipelines that cross the US-Mexico border, according to a State Department release from Thursday.

The company secured a permit for the New Burgos pipeline, authorizing construction, connection, operation and maintenance of a new pipeline that has capacity to deliver up to 108,000 barrels per day of certain refined petroleum products. The company was also issued two permits for existing pipelines that cross the border in Texas near Laredo and Penitas. The permits reflect a name change and authorize transport of a broader range of petroleum products than under a prior permit.
